Adding a work of art is an easy way to enhance any space. Whether you’re looking for a colorful painting or a unique glass sculpture, head to Artists in Middleburg. It’s an easy drive from our Aldie, VA, apartments, and works to support and strengthen the local creative community. Here are some of the local artists you’ll discover during your visit to this art gallery near Aldie:
Passionate about art and science, Maureen Storey is a glass artist whose pieces reflect emotion and movement. She brings her creations to life in her home studio. Maureen works without assistants, and none of her designs are ever mass-produced.
From college president to artist, Michael Bassis has led an interesting life. While he explored art museums across the world, he didn’t make time to express his own creativity. That changed six years ago when he made his first work of art in over 50 years. Today, Michael uses oils and acrylics to produce stunning paintings. He creates landscapes, cityscapes, and sailboats at sea. His pieces are full of color, and they’re perfect for any room in your home.
Mainly self-taught, Cathy Choyce began drawing as soon as she could hold a pencil. After graduation, she pursued her dream job as a horse trainer. Cathy also continued to create equine portraiture and was asked to produce portraits of the horses that made up the United States Olympic team. Her work is usually made of pastels or colored pencils and gains recognition for its realism.
